A friend of mine came to visit after I had discovered several new tawny owl locations earlier that week. The long-eared owls were also back at their usual spot. Since my friend had never seen an owl before — or at least couldn’t remember ever seeing one — we got in the car for a little owl-spotting tour. With success!
The light was challenging, to say the least, for taking really good photos. Still, I managed to capture a few decent proof shots.
